Tree Ring / Engagement Tree
It is worn on the bough of an old oak in Gut Hölzhausen which is one of the first ecological farms in Europ. What is a ring? A tryst? A promise? This permananent outdoor sculpture is a band of gold leafed bronze. Its diamond (made from cast glass) contains a constellation of bubbles. It would seem that I am engaged to a tree!
